PAST EVENTS
On this fascinating album, there are inventive versions of some of the better known Swell Maps tracks: Midget Submarines”, “Let’s Build A Car”, “Read About Seymour”, “ Real Shocks”, “Secret Island”.
There are also daring interpretations of obscure album tracks such as “Clearasil Record (Stuck)”, “Gunboats”, “Lets Go To New York”, “Raincoats Room”, “Robot Factory”. Some tracks are not simply cover versions, but freshly composed pieces inspired by the radical, inclusive spirit of Swell Maps.
